The 3-litre Twin Turbo V6 fitted to the Quattroporte S has a sporty edge; the two units also share most of their components. The bore spec and combustion chamber design are unchanged, as is the technology that controls the valves and direct injection. These refined solutions allow the V6 to develop 301kW (410 HP) at 5500 rpm.
The Quattroporte S is unmistakably Maserati. The eye is drawn from the classic oval grille and over the imposing bonnet, a feature inspired by the GranTurismo and other great models created by the marque. The black, concave, vertical bars pay homage to an iconic model from the past, the A6 GCS berlinetta, and contrast with the grille’s sleek chrome border. The Maserati trident takes pride of place in the centre.
