The GranCabrio Sport has been optimised for performance – an innovative Diamond-like coating reduces friction within the 4.7-litre V8 engine. A remarkable 460bhp powers the car from 0-60 in five seconds, on the way to a top speed of 177mph. At 4,750rpm, you’ll enjoy a maximum 52 kg/m of torque, and the deep growl of the engine can be tempered by closing the exhaust bypass valves when you’d prefer a more relaxed drive.
The transmission offers you five distinct driving modes: Auto Normal, Auto Sport, Manual Normal, Manual Sport, and Ice, each tailored to meet your driving style and every individual drive. Gear change paddles are mounted on the steering wheel for use in manual modes.
The weight distribution is slightly ranged towards the rear of the car to improve the grip and handling, aided by the Skyhook suspension that’s fitted as standard. A control unit collects information from wheel-mounted acceleration sensors, adapting the suspension to meet the demands of each drive. The ‘Sport’ button on the dashboard activates even sharper grip and handling.
